Description
The Brewery Creek mine is a bulk tonnage gold deposit located 57 km east of Dawson City, Yukon. The open-pit heap leach operation produces 75,000 - 80,000 ounces annually, with mineable reserves at the end of 1997 reported at 13.3 MT @ 1.44 gpt (613,000 oz). This dataset is provided by the Government of Yukon and was last updated on April 17, 2026.
Use Cases
Analyze geological controls on mineralization based on descriptions of structural features and host rocks.
Model mine economics based on annual production figures and cash cost data.
Map deposit location and extent based on geographic coordinates and regional geological context.
Strengths
Includes specific annual production figures (75,000 - 80,000 ounces) and cash cost (US$200/oz or less).
Provides detailed geological description including host rocks, structural controls, and mineralization style.
