23 Guralp 6TD and Certimus seismometers recorded ~12 months of continuous broadband seismic data at 100 samples per second within and around the ~8km diameter Askja Caldera. The dataset, in standard miniseed format with accompanying XML dataless files, was collected by the University of Iceland and University of Cambridge to track microseismic activity and facilitate seismic imaging. Data quality is described as good, with both local earthquakes and teleseisms easily detected.
Data access to most stations is by foot, which may imply logistical challenges for maintenance or metadata collection.
