Description
From September 5 to October 12, 2003, this dataset comprises observations of 11,687 individuals from 253 species of fishes, sharks, rays, and sea snakes. It was collected using 275 baited remote underwater video stations (BRUVS) deployed around the Townsville-Lizard region of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The Australian Ocean Data Network hosts the data, which includes 2,397 images and records habitat classification, species identity, arrival times, behavior, maturity, and relative abundance.
