Côte d'Ivoire Subnational Rainfall: 10-Day Indicators and Forecasts

Dekadal rainfall indicators for Côte d'Ivoire subnational units generated by the World Food Programme using CHIRPS v2 and CHIRPS-GEFS data. The dataset tracks 10-day, 1-month, and 3-month rainfall totals alongside long-term averages and percentage anomalies.

Use Cases

• Monitoring drought conditions by analyzing the rainfall anomaly percentage (rfq) across administrative units.
• Predicting crop water stress using the 3-month rolling aggregation (r3h) compared to its long-term average (r3h_avg).
• Validating meteorological models by comparing 'forecast' values against 'final' observations in the type column.

Strengths
