CESM2 CONTROL Simulation: Ocean Heat and Carbon Content (1970-2014)

CESM2 CONTROL simulation output contains historical model data from January 1970 to December 2014. The data includes global fields for temperature, salinity, dissolved inorganic carbon, meridional overturning circulation, and sea ice fraction at a monthly resolution. Tessa Gorte from the University of Colorado Boulder generated this data to study ocean responses without increased ice sheet freshwater discharge.
