Numerical simulation results investigate oscillatory flow through 90° bends in a thermoacoustic system. The study, authored by Olusegun M. Ilori of the University of Leeds, uses 3D Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with a RANS method and SST k-ω turbulent model. It analyzes the effects of curvature radius on acoustic wave properties and losses, considering two curvature radii and a drive ratio of acoustic excitation up to 0.65%.
