From December 2016 to January 2017, UNHCR and WFP conducted a Standardized Expanded Nutrition Survey (SENS) in 12 refugee camps in eastern Chad. The survey assessed the nutrition and health situation of an estimated 310,834 long-term refugees from Sudan, focusing on children under five and women of child-bearing age.
