Annual 0.01-degree gridded ground-level PM2.5 estimates for Eastern China from 2000 to 2020, with data for 2000 covering March to December. Jing Wei from the University of Maryland, College Park generated the dataset using MODIS/Terra+Aqua MAIAC AOD products and auxiliary data with artificial intelligence. The annual estimates show high correlation with ground-based measurements (R² = 0.94) and an average root-mean-square error of 5.07 µg m⁻³.
