30.9 MB of experimental data from a study exploring neurotransmitter co-release at the medial olivocochlear (MOC) to inner hair cell (IHC) synapse in mice. The dataset, created by Tais Castagnola and last updated in April 2026, includes results from optogenetic stimulation, optical neurotransmitter detection, and calcium imaging. Findings indicate GABA and acetylcholine are co-released from at least a subset of MOC terminals, with GABA acting as a negative feedback mechanism during an immature developmental stage.
