A geological case study assesses the CO2 storage suitability of the Early Cretaceous Gage Sandstone in Australia's offshore Vlaming Sub-basin. The analysis integrates 2D seismic interpretation, well log data from 8 wells, and biostratigraphic review to characterize the reservoir. The Gage Sandstone is a sand-rich submarine fan system with porosities of 23-30% and permeabilities of 200-1800 mD, lying 1000-3000 meters below the seafloor.
