Thirteen mining sites operated in the Netherlands, with the oldest, the Domaniale mine in Kerkrade, active in the 19th century. The last mine closed in 1974, ending coal extraction from Limburg. The map data originates from the website De Mijnen.nl and was made available in April 2016.
License is Creative Commons Public Domain Mark 1.0 (CC-PDM-1.0). Primary file formats are geospatial services (WFS, WMS) and an image (PNG).
