2018-2019 surveys collected data on benthic invertebrate biodiversity and environmental characteristics in the Upper North Shore region of the St. Lawrence Estuary. Two scientific surveys in August 2018 and July/August 2019 followed a fixed sampling design of eight transects with approximately 40 stations per survey. Specimens were collected via beam trawl, with taxonomic names validated against the World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS).
Data is provided in three complementary Darwin Core format files (event_information, additional_information_event_and_occurrence, taxon_occurrence) linked by the eventID key; users must join them for full context. License is Canada Open Government License. Abundance and biomass data requires contacting the specified custodian.
