Coastal to Deep-Marine Geomorphic Classification Framework and Glossary

A hierarchical framework and glossary of over 400 terms across 11 overlapping classes assigns geomorphic interpretation to seabed features. The International Seabed Geomorphology Mapping Working Group developed this standardised classification using an Ocean Best Practice process. It supports consistent terminology from global to local scales for the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science.
