Coastal Water Mixing and Productivity Data from the Lower Estuary, 2022

Three sampling outings in 2022 (June 30, August 16, October 9) collected temperature, salinity, nutrient, and phytoplankton biomass data from stations along a 100 NM transect on the north shore of the lower estuary. Fisheries and Oceans Canada gathered this data using CTD profiles and water sampling with a Niskin bottle to measure the effect of mixing zones on ecosystem productivity. The project was funded by the DFO Coastal Environmental Baseline Program under Canada’s Oceans Protection Plan.
