55 individuals consecutively admitted for treatment of DSM-III-R cocaine dependence were interviewed about experiences of psychosis while intoxicated. The dataset was created by Kathleen T. Brady of the Medical University of South Carolina. 53% (29/55) of those interviewed reported experiencing transient cocaine-induced psychosis, with 90% of that group developing paranoid delusions and 96% experiencing hallucinations.
