ACE Antarctic Expedition Cold and Warm Temperature Advection Mask, Dec 2016 – Mar 2017

Iris Thurnherr of ETH Zurich created a mask for identifying cold and warm temperature advection along the Antarctic Circumnavigation Expedition (ACE) track. The mask combines measured air temperature from ACE with sea surface temperature fields from ECMWF operational analysis data. The dataset covers the expedition period from December 2016 to March 2017.
