Remote video monitoring experiments in two eastern Tasmanian regions, Maria Island Marine Reserve and Crayfish Point Research Reserve, were used to identify predators of the sea urchin Centrostephanus rodgersii. The dataset, provided by the Australian Ocean Data Network, compares urchin survival on reefs inside no-take Marine Protected Areas to fished reefs to examine the impact of fishing on predator biomass. The study also examines the size-specific nature of predation interactions in the context of size-selective fishing pressures.
File formats listed are PNG and HTML, which may indicate the dataset consists of summary figures and documentation rather than raw tabular data.
