Complete Mitochondrial Genomes of Two Endemic Malagasy Rodents

Complete mitochondrial DNA sequences for two species of tufted-tailed rats endemic to Madagascar. The dataset includes 7 assemblies for Eliurus webbi and 3 for Eliurus minor, with genome lengths ranging from 16,296 to 16,313 nucleotides. Assembled by Elise N. Paietta and published on figshare in April 2026, these are the first mitogenomes reported for the rodent subfamily Nesomyinae.
