Australian Continental Airborne Electromagnetics for Groundwater Interpretation

Over 115,000 line-km of interpreted airborne electromagnetic data cover approximately 27% of the Australian continent. Geoscience Australia integrated these conductivity-depth models with borehole and geological data to characterize near-surface geology up to ~300 meters deep. These interpretations were presented at the 2025 International Association of Hydrogeologists Conference.
