Seismo-stratigraphic evidence reconstructs the late Quaternary ice sheet and ice shelf extent in the George V Basin, East Antarctica. The dataset distinguishes four glacial facies and two sediment drift deposits based on Chirp sub-bottom profiles, multi-channel seismic data, and sediment cores. Radiocarbon ages from sediment cores link facies to the Last Glacial Maximum and older grounding events.
