Exmouth Gulf in Western Australia was sampled at ten stations to investigate plankton community structure. The dataset includes water temperature, salinity, chlorophyll a, particulate carbon and nitrogen, and egg production rates for four dominant copepod species. This research was undertaken by the Australian Ocean Data Network to estimate grazing impacts, calculating that adult females graze 12% of total particulate carbon daily.
