COSMOS is an astronomical survey designed to probe galaxy formation and evolution as a function of cosmic time and large-scale environment. The catalog covers a 2 square degree equatorial field with imaging from major space-based and ground-based telescopes, detecting over 2 million galaxies spanning 75% of the age of the universe. This I-band selected multi-color catalog is provided by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, with a detailed description in Capak et al. (2007).
