Description
1999-2014 data from Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh, sourced from the Indian Ministry of Agriculture via the National Informatics Centre. The dataset was used by Gutierrez et al. (2023) to analyze relationships between cotton yields, agricultural inputs, monsoon rainfall, and farmer suicides. It is provided as an XLSX worksheet by Andrew Paul Gutierrez of the University of California, Berkeley.
