Flux Tower Measurements from Daintree Rainforest 2008 Onwards

Aggregating flux tower measurements of energy and mass exchange between the surface and atmosphere using eddy covariance techniques, processed with PyFluxPro. The station, established in December 2008 in a complex mesophyll vine forest, provides gap-filled data including Net Ecosystem Exchange partitioned into Gross Primary Productivity and Ecosystem Respiration.

• Analyze Net Ecosystem Exchange (NEE) trends over time to study carbon dynamics in a biodiverse rainforest.
• Partition NEE into Gross Primary Productivity (GPP) and Ecosystem Respiration (ER) to model forest carbon cycling.

• The early years (2009-2012) had several data gaps, reducing continuity for that period.
• Shadowing of radiometric equipment causes known artifacts, seen as reductions in downwelling radiation with solar inclination.
• File formats are limited to HTML and PNG, which may not be ideal for direct quantitative analysis without data extraction.
