MexAB-OprM: Cryo-EM Structure of a Multidrug Efflux Pump

A near-atomic resolution cryo-electron microscopy structure of the wild-type MexAB-OprM multidrug efflux pump from Pseudomonas aeruginosa, presented with and without drugs. The structure reveals the assembly mechanism and gate movements involved in drug efflux. The data was produced by author Kenta Tsutsumi from the Protein Research Foundation.
