5677 transverse DICOM slices capture the left lower jaw of the Carboniferous stem tetrapod Crassigyrinus scoticus. The data was collected by Laura Porro and Jennifer Clack in February 2013 at the Natural History Museum's Imaging and Analysis Centre for anatomical and biomechanical study.
Data is DICOM image stacks; specialized software (e.g., 3D Slicer, ITK-Snap) required for visualization and analysis. The three jaw parts were scanned separately and may require registration.
