High-resolution conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) profiles were collected from the R/V Wecoma in coastal waters off Oregon and California during a research cruise from May 18 to June 4, 1982. The dataset, submitted by Oregon State University for the Coastal Ocean Dynamics Experiment, contains nearly continuous measurements of temperature, salinity, density, and other parameters at depth intervals as fine as 1 meter. Data were processed by the National Oceanographic Data Center into the standard F022 format.
Data is processed to the NODC F022 format, which may involve averaging, filtering, or interpolation. The 2026 update date on Data.gov likely reflects a metadata refresh, not new data collection.
