Geospatial data from the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations identifies the locations of old elevated settlements, known as culture layers, in the river area. The dataset describes these archaeological layers as humus-like deposits containing charcoal and organic habitation residues, typically well-preserved beneath the tread surface. It is available in WMS, PNG, and WFS formats under a CC-PDM-1.0 license.
