Mediterranean Cypress Distribution Maps with Polygon and Point Features

Chorological maps of Mediterranean cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) were produced by combining heterogeneous data from atlas monographs, national to regional atlases, occurrence geo-databases, and scientific literature. The maps are provided as ESRI shapefiles, with polygon features defining continuous areas of occupancy and point features identifying fragmented populations. This dataset is part of the 'European Atlas of Forest Tree Species' project, authored by Giovanni Caudullo and published in 2017.
