CYGNSS Inundation Maps for Pantanal and Sudd Wetlands, 2017-2019

Cynthia Gerlein‐Safdi of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory created inundation maps for the Pantanal and Sudd wetlands from June 2017 to December 2019. The maps were developed using microwave remote sensing data from the Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS) constellation at a 0.5° x 0.5° resolution. The underlying CYGNSS data is available from NASA, and the method is described in an associated preprint.
