COSMOS-UK: Field-Scale Soil Moisture from Cosmic-Ray Probes

32 sites across Great Britain used novel cosmic-ray sensing probes to measure soil moisture at a field scale between October 2013 and December 2015. The dataset provides 30-minute resolution neutron counts, humidity, and atmospheric pressure to derive hourly and daily volumetric water content. Additional soil heat flux, air temperature, wind speed, and net radiation data support daily potential evapotranspiration calculations.
