Daily Global Land Surface Net Radiation from AVHRR (1981–2019)

A 39-year daily record (1981–2019) of surface all-wave net radiation over global land, generated using a deep learning method to upscale in situ measurements from AVHRR satellite data. The product has a spatial resolution of 0.05° and was created by Jianglei Xu at Wuhan University. Validation indicates a root mean square error (RMSE) of approximately 26 Wm-2.
