395 seabed samples and nine environmental variables underpin a 10-meter resolution grid predicting mud content for Darwin and Bynoe Harbour. Geoscience Australia, the Australian Institute of Marine Science, and the Northern Territory Government compiled surveys from 2011 to 2017 to create this baseline. Predictive accuracy for mud content is reported as very high, with a VEcv of 62% and a 198.3% improvement over a common interpolation method.
