Darwin Harbour Predicted Seabed Sand Content at 10-Meter Resolution

395 seabed samples and seven environmental variables underpin a 10-meter resolution raster grid predicting sand content (63-2000 µm) for Darwin and Bynoe Harbour. The dataset, funded by INPEX and co-invested by Geoscience Australia and AIMS, supersedes previous predictions with a demonstrated 84.8% improvement in accuracy over common methods. Data compilation is based on surveys conducted between 2011 and 2017.
