Large-scale C. glutamicum Single-Cell Tracking with Manual Annotations

More than 1.4 million cell observations across five time-lapse sequences provide a benchmark for microbial single-cell tracking. The dataset includes manually corrected segmentation and tracking annotations for over 29,000 cell tracks and 14,000 cell divisions. Phase contrast images were captured every minute at a spatial resolution of 0.072 μm/px from Corynebacterium glutamicum cells growing in monolayer microfluidic chambers.

Collection Method

Time-lapse phase contrast microscopy of C. glutamicum cells cultivated in BHI-medium at 30°C within monolayer microfluidic chambers. Images were taken every minute using a Nikon Eclipse Ti2 microscope.
