Serum Metabolite Profiles in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Patients and Controls

Serum metabolite profiling from 51 Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients and 22 age-matched healthy controls, analyzed via liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. Fourteen metabolites were found significantly altered between patient and control groups, including arginine, creatine, and creatinine.
