763 children and 489 parents from 11 public elementary schools in Akashi, Japan, participated in a community-based study on stroke education. The data includes questionnaire responses on stroke knowledge collected before, immediately after, and 3 months after emergency medical technician-led lessons conducted between September 2014 and October 2015. The study measured the effectiveness of the intervention using scores for stroke symptoms, risk factors, and understanding of the FAST mnemonic.
