MRI T1 Mapping Data from Radial Inversion-Recovery Look-Locker Acquisitions

MRI data for validating a model-based acceleration technique for T1 mapping using Inversion-Recovery Look-Locker (IR-LL) sequences with radial acquisition. The validation study compared T1 values from accelerated reconstructions against a segmented IR gold standard, showing differences of less than 2.6% in a phantom and less than 5.5% in white and gray matter of seven healthy volunteers. The method can reconstruct a single-slice T1 map from data acquired in only 6 seconds.
