Dryad hosts this dataset from a quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping study of reciprocal F2 hybrids between two strongly differentiated populations of the copepod Tigriopus californicus. The study used a saturated linkage map spanning all 12 autosomes and the mitochondrion to investigate genetic incompatibilities, finding the strongest deleterious interaction was mito-nuclear. Research by Brad R. Foley found viability problems were stronger in males and that trigenic interactions were substantially more frequent than digenic ones in this highly divergent cross.
