A proteomics study identifies 529 lysine acetylation sites across 304 proteins in rat cortical astrocytes, with 277 sites on 186 proteins being novel. The research also maps acetylome changes in astrocytes infected with the brain parasite Toxoplasma gondii, finding 58 proteins with acetylation levels altered more than twofold. The dataset was generated by Anne Bouchut and published in 2020.
