Aggregating numerical simulation results from an elastohydrodynamic model investigating sperm scattering by a microchannel backstep feature. The model examines how scattering angle depends on backstep height and the relative strength of viscous and elastic forces in the flagellum. The study includes a parameter regime corresponding to human sperm in cervical mucus analogue, where scattering angles are on the order of 5°–10°.
