Comprising optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging data from post mortem Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) samples. It provides measurements of physiological features, including an average exoskeleton thickness of (30±4) µm along a 1 cm body length and a heart volume estimate of (0.73±0.03) mm³. The data was generated by Nicola Bellini to demonstrate OCT's application for non-invasive biological imaging.
