74 elite youth ice hockey players participated in a randomized crossover study measuring the acute effects of 20-minute dual-task training (DTT) and virtual reality training (VRT) interventions. The study assessed performance on simple tapping and dual-task paradigms paired with speed-reading or Stroop tasks, analyzing individual responsiveness via smallest worthwhile change (SWC). Moderating variables included cognitive test scores and on-ice speed performance measurements.
