13 randomized controlled trials with 890 participants form the basis of this meta-analysis. The data evaluates probiotic intervention efficacy on sleep quality using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and Insomnia Severity Index scores. Results show a statistically significant improvement in PSQI and ISI scores, with no significant change in Epworth Sleepiness Scale scores or serum cortisol levels.
