Description
Dendrobine treatment at 5 μM achieved the most pronounced inhibition of anaplastic thyroid cancer cell viability (P < 0.001). This dataset contains results from cell viability, proliferation, apoptosis, migration, and invasion assays, as well as in vivo xenograft studies in mice, authored by Yanhuan Shang and last updated in June 2026. The data supports the investigation of dendrobine's antitumor effects via the JAK-STAT3 signaling pathway.
Use Cases
Train predictive models for drug response based on cell viability and proliferation assay results.
Analyze the correlation between JAK-STAT3 pathway protein expression and epithelial-mesenchymal transition markers like E-cad and N-cad.
Validate in vitro findings against in vivo tumor volume and weight reduction data from mouse xenograft models.
Strengths
Includes both in vitro cell line data (CAL-62, 8505C) and in vivo mouse model data, providing a multi-faceted view.
Experimental results include statistical significance values (e.g., P < 0.001) for key findings.
Data is associated with a specific mechanistic pathway (JAK-STAT3) and includes perturbation experiments with IL-6 and STAT3-siRNA.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment for large-scale ML tasks.
The 23.9 MB file size suggests a relatively small dataset.
