Description
Heqiao Han's systematic review and meta-analysis, published on figshare in April 2026, evaluates the impact of local consolidative therapy combined with systemic therapy for driver-negative oligometastatic non-small cell lung cancer. The analysis pools data from 13 studies encompassing 1,698 patients. It reports hazard ratios for overall and progression-free survival, response rates, and adverse events.
Use Cases
Validate the survival benefit of local consolidative therapy based on pooled hazard ratios for overall and progression-free survival.
Assess treatment safety profiles based on the reported risk ratios for adverse events.
Inform clinical trial design based on subgroup analyses incorporating immunotherapy-based regimens.
Support evidence-based treatment guidelines based on the results of sensitivity analyses and publication bias assessment.
Strengths
Analysis is based on a systematic review of 13 studies with 1,698 patients.
Reports specific pooled effect sizes, including hazard ratios with 95% confidence intervals for survival outcomes.
Includes subgroup and sensitivity analyses to test the robustness of findings.
Registered with PROSPERO (CRD420261351878), indicating a predefined protocol.
Limitations
The dataset is a 352 KB DOCX document; the underlying tabular meta-analysis data is not directly accessible.
Column-level documentation for any statistical tables is absent; data semantics must be inferred from the text.
Row count for any underlying data tables is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment for computational reuse.
