192 Salmonella Kentucky isolates were identified from 45,223 human Salmonella samples collected in Taiwan between 2004 and 2025, with a marked increase in 2024-2025. Whole-genome sequencing was performed on 165 isolates from humans, animals, and chicken meat, identifying three major sequence types. The dataset, authored by Ying-Shu Liao and last updated in June 2026, documents the emergence of azithromycin-resistant extensively drug-resistant (AziR-XDR) strains.
