A systematic review and meta-analysis of 10 studies involving 15,296 athletes evaluates the effectiveness of exercise-based preventive training. It reports a significantly lower incidence of knee injuries (RR = 0.68) and anterior cruciate ligament injuries (RR = 0.43) in trained groups. The analysis, conducted by Hao Zhou, includes exploratory subgroup analyses to identify factors influencing program effectiveness.
