Si Long Jenny Tou's study provides a post-hoc offline analysis of individualized EEG electrode selection for P300-design brain-computer interfaces. The research involved 51 participants with varying severity of cerebral palsy and typically developing controls, comparing an 8-electrode individualized subset to a default subset. Results show a mean +28.6% absolute improvement in calibration accuracy for the severe CP cohort.
