Four crop tests examine the impact of sodium chloride addition and potassium reduction in hydroponic nutrient solutions on lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). The dataset includes measurements of oxygen and water production, projected leaf area, canopy temperature, photosynthesis parameters, and biomass elemental composition. The data was collected in the Plant Characterization Unit at the University of Naples Federico II for the European Space Agency.
